The best way for sterilization
●Sterilization by autoclaving. It is the most efficient and adaptable way for sterilizing. And it also meets the requirements of Operation Norms about Sterilization of Medical Dental Equipment issued by National Sanitary Department.
●Prohibiting using ways of sterilization as follows:
Ⅰ.Chemical soaking sterilization: 1. The inner components of handpiece are complicated, so blood and saliva cannot be easy to clean.2.doctors must operate the handpiece according to the non-bacteria principle after sterilization. For example, with the non-bacteria water to clean the handpiece and then wipe it with non-bacteria paper, so the process is not convenient.3. The equipments sterilized with chemical soaking way are under the situation of naked body. so they have to use immediately after sterilization. And the other way is to put into another non-bacteria vessel, or the equipment will became dirty. 4. The chemical dose will damage the handpiece in a certain degree.
Ⅱ.Temperature sterilization without water.1.The efficient temperature for sterilization is 170 degree. For its high temperature, the material particle of handpiece will be spoiled and the whole handpiece will be damaged. 2.Every part of handpiece will not receive the average temperature under this sterilization. So it can not make it sure that the handpiece is non-bacteria. 3. The handpiece is easy to discolor.4. It cannot be applied to the sterilization with the package.
Ⅲ. Sterilization through ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic wave will cause the damage of bearings, so the quality of handpiece can not be maintained. |
